Returning to my room late on a Thursday, I found it was not made up, with a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and rooms. Despite the need for a deep cleaning to clear the smoke residue off the windows, pictures, and bathroom door, the interior room was surprisingly nice compared to the unassuming exterior.

The hotel looked exactly the same as it did 40 years ago from the outside, but surprisingly, the rooms were nicer than expected and not as bad as the exterior suggested.
